Hello! My cat is 15 years old,  short-haired persian and is starting to behave weirdly lately.

I'll explain a bit about what happened in June  - he had a stroke, the vet told that it might be epilepsy. After the stroke he became slower but still pretty active. But on August 15th he had this "petit-mal" mini-stroke - basically he shook his head for a minute or so and it stopped. But after this smaller stroke he started do do these weird things like - running through a particular room and always staying somewhere above ground (table, nightstand, bed, etc.). Now he also sometimes shakes his paw and starts licking it. sometimes it wakes him up (we looked for flea feces in the fur - none).

            What might cause this?

The only thing I can think of is that it is related to neurological damage suffered during these strokes. I think that you need to talk to your vet about these behaviour changes and see what they can suggest. I'm so sorry your cat has suffered these strokes. I hope you're able to get some answers soon. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
