I think I would like to spend the day with Dian Fossey to satisfy my own curiosity.  I have heard and read that she was a very difficult person to the point of being rude with a horrible temper.  Many people feel that her murder was personal committed by one of the many people that she had offended.  I would like to know if she was really personally as bad as her many enemies said she was or if she was so committed to her work that she developed the obsessive tunnel vision that many very committed people develop.

Since you didn't say "famous," I would want to spend the day with my sister who passed away. I have so much I want to talk to her about! I want to hug her and never let go.

I would want to spend the time with Margaret Bourke-White, the photographer. She not only created wonderful photographs, she was adventurous and courageous throughout her life. She was also a pioneer as a woman photojournalist during WWII, when most were men. Her ship was torpedoed by a German U Boat and she saved her camera and took very moving photos in the lifeboat. She died of Parkinson's and fought it till the end. I wish I was more like her, which is why I'd like to spend time with her.

That is hard! *Super history grad and Nerd here*

Alright...I'll try to make it short.

- Elizabeth I (And a buttload of other badass historical women, both famous and lesser knowns)

- My grandparents from my paternal side who passed away before I was born.

- A few dozen amazing figures, men and women, from WWI and WWII.

And so forth and so forth! I'll have to stop there before I badger people with a crazy long list and post

I'd also love to meet Lucy Worsley, a curator, historian and presenter (Not a historical figure but someone who studies such, that counts right?) I would squee like a freakin' child.
