Trying to decide what to do. Follow up vet visit Thursday. Husband and I don't have much expendable income. Last month vet said 14 yr old male neutured cat either has leukemia or IBD...been giving meds and have been feeding prescription diet..what if he has not gained weight? If money was a concern for you, what would you do? We love him, been with me since 3 months old and now 14 yrs old...

money is a concern for me and when katniss had a bowel obstruction i was stressed and pinching pennies to eat so she could get what she needed. a lot of people thought u was stupid for doing so, but she is my child, apart of my family. i did apply for a care credit card that helped ALOT and i got it paid off within 6 months. When it was maxed, the vet worked with me on payment plans and discounted X-rays. i got 2 X-rays for the price of one. talk to your vet, look into the care credit thing, also look into pet insurance! good luck!
