update think 4 is it now she had had some more dinner which gave me chance to clean up again lol. but she was like this after 3 last night so time will tell all very settled. oh boy what a night.

the story goes i came home from work last night at around 8.30pm and she seemed her normal had some kitten food so didn't think anything was happening well not untill we had our dinner and she was meowing at us at the time husband thought she just wanted some of his dinner so offered her some but she would not eat it which is not like her . then the nesting started . then as she walked over to the door we noticed more plug coming away so then knew something was going on it was only a very short time after her waters were leaking but me being me though its still going to be hours yet but then only a few minutes after she started getting really strong contractions that you could see clearly almost pushing but me being me was thinking its to soon to push then i see the tail as she laid down in the corner refused all the nests we had made her so i laid down some towels and puppy pads to try and save the floor as much as i could not that the carpet is getting changed in here once she is done. so i sat down with her rubbing her belly and feeding her natural yogurt as she will not drink the KMR then not even 15 minutes she screamed bite me and the first one was born i was a little concerned that its bag had already broken before she even started to push it out and that it could have been there longer than it should with no supply but it was fine. she cleaned it up and chewed away the cord as she should and started to feed it but did not eat the after birth so i disposed of it. then the next one arrived around an hour later still in its bag this time. she did all the same but ate the afterbirth with this one. the next one appeared about 30 mins from this one and the same again but again did not eat the after birth so again i disposed of it. then after she finished with her babies had some kitten food which gave me chance to clean up and put fresh puppy pads and towels down and settled right down by 3 am still nothing so i presumed she had finished even though her belly still looked pregnant but thought maybe it is just a little swollen in there and she was not in any distress had eaten and i couldn't really feel anymore kittens so decided to go to bed and leave her to it. i got back up at 7 am and went in to check she was ok and to give her some more kitten food which she came to the door as i opened it and ate it all . so thought 3 it is even though i thought it was strange due to the size of her but she was acting fine it was only when i went back in after getting showered and dressed i was sat there with her with my coffee and i look down and she pushes out another one 8 1/2 hours after the last one i sat with her and thought surely this one has defiantly been in there to long from the start now so checked it over and it was fine omg 4 kittens all fine. now we have had nothing since she again has eaten and is coming to the door when we come in to be fed so surely she has finished now. once she was all settled i did try to move them into the dog create which is all cosyed up for her and her babies but no sooner i did she moved them back to where they were i have just left them there now as she is obviously happy there. i am now sat on the sofa watching and hearing  them suckling away all seems to be ok at the moment . i have also weighed them all and they are smaller than her last litter as her smallest last time was 110grms and this time they are ranging from 98grms to 101grms still ok i think as her last litter where huge.

ok think it is safe to say 4 is it all done as she is eating drinking and using the litter box now and she is comfortable enough to leave them for short times to come and have a cuddle on the sofa so all looking good so far dont know now what all the worry was about lol but she is still being done in 6 weeks i will phone the vets tomorrow to book her in and to book the 2-3 week vet check. just weighed them again to make sure they are doing OK and omg i didn't expect what i found lol

first born black and white is now 113g that's a 15g plus

first pure black second born is now 131g that's a whooping 32g plus

second pure black third born is now 133g that's another whooping 35g plus

last born black and white is now 117g that a 16g plus which is still impressive as this one was born 9.30 this morning

this was a better than i could have ever imagined something tells me they are going to turn in to little porky's in next to no time if they keep this up i will weigh again tommorrow night now

Nice sized kittens!

How long ago did she have her last litter?  She may need extra calcium so she doesn't get a deficiency.

last litter was born Easter Monday 06/04/2015  i have been offering her lots of natural yorgourt as she likes that and have chosen one with a high calcium % she managed to get through a whole pot (small pot ) during her labor  but slowed up on it now only taking a few teaspoons of it as she wants the kitten food back now also i buy royal canin dry kitten food for her which also had a high calcium % as well as protein its not cheep but it really dose bring all my cats into fantastic condition. as she will not touch the KMR at all and not keen on cows milk either but don't like giving them a lot of cows milk anyways. is this enough or is there something else i can supplement her with

i think we might just have to lol we also have 2 a pure black girl and a tuxedo boy from her last litter which we kept its just one of those things being able to have a kitten from birth but these will both be neutered when Missy goes in 6 weeks they should be old enough then
Guess your son will get to choose which one to keep.

It must be nice having a kitten from birth.  My current cat, Ruby, is a shelter adoptee, and I often wonder what she was like as a kitten.
