So both of my cats have been having issues with the potty with the regular brand name cat food so i thought if i got them something that's actually healthy it would make them feel better. Only bad part is i know you're supposed to mix new and old food to make a transition but i ran out of old food before we bought the new food so i have nothing to mix with. Husband didn't want to buy more old food if they are suppose to be eating new food.. Should we get some of the old food anyway to help or is there another way to help them so their tummies don't feel worse before they are used to the new food? Or should i just hope for the best? My 2 y/o cat has already gotten sick from the transition and its only been a day.

If one of your cats has already gotten sick from the new food then yes definitely get some of the old food and do a mixture to get them used to it ..   I think the norm is to start with 75 % old 25% new then gradually decrease old increase new ..
