Panini is a female and it's true that the cat's eyes do tell the story and how they are feeling.

You know some cats really grab you straight away and this cat grabbed me I could love her very easily I think I will start A "Easy to love Cat' just for myself. There are so many cats on the cats site I'll have so many to chose from. But this is only for myself I don't inflect my strange ways on everyone else. My rating will be to 100 with 100 being tops I will also give my comments on my ratings. Eyes. Coat colour. Photo ability. Cuteness. Age e.g.. kitten or cat. Etc. Rescue or home grown mm..If I think of anything else, I'll add it. Regards from Australia.

This is totally different. When I first discovered The Cat Site I was still very much missing our companion of 21years and seven months. Bity meant the world to my husband and myself. After all he had been with us so long. Through his first (and only) 'kill when' a silly Quail jumped into his mouth that' was how he told the story anyway, through to the five vet trips with me holding him and singing nursery rimes 's  all the way as Bity hated cars inside one or outside looking at stationary ones. I look at his photos and am amazed at how he aged but then I see photos of hubby and myself and the same metamorphous has taken place. We aged right along with him. He never was a "friendly' cat though he gave what affection he had for humans to my hubby. He would follow him anywhere and ,play' catch or any other silly game that took his fancy. To rattle the Mondo grass so he could hide from him but his big long tail hanging out the back gave it away. But that was okay I had my place it was in the peeling of prawns for him or packing the counter top with grocery bags for him to peer into, never to get into them just looking. . So many stories. When we left him for a week in the care of a house sitter who didn't do as we did and if he didn't like one can of food opened I always opened a second, and a third, this person was of the option 'you will eat if you get hungry enough.' horrible man.. The Magpies lived well while Bity was alive. And the morning he died in my arms. He didn't suffer just one massive convulsion and it was all over. The Cat Site has helped me get over the raw pain and let it settle into quiet memories or a friend we both loved and can now speak his name with a smile. Thank You people for giving me this gift of peaceful memories. R I P Bity
