I bought this on Wednesday at Target. I looked at them a week or so ago and they were $49. Wednesday I went back to the store and made the purchase. It was on sale for $39. I had one of the Teflon coated ones and wore it out. It was great to cook on but a pain you know where to clean it. Tonight I used this grill and cooked some turkey burgers for our meal. It cooks wonderfully. The real good part was removing the cooked ceramic plates, top and bottom and washing them in the dish pan. Of my, they just wiped off clean. These plates are also dishwasher safe. I am in love with this grill. The only thing I would change is I wish the electric cord were longer. I can't sit is close enough on my counter to be near my stove exhaust.

But I think I got a deal. This grill is going to be great for the two of us when the weather is cold or rainy and hubby doesn't want to start the Weber outside.

If anyone wants a new kitchen toy, try this.

Oh, nice!  My hubby has an older model of the George Foreman grill and uses it a lot.  The removable plates on the new model are great!

Nice!

We have a GF party grill. It's round and it holds a ton of stuff. There's an insert right in the center where I can heat up my BBQ sauces to brush onto the meat and vegetables. I like the party grill, too. When we bought it, a small sandwich-type maker came with the grill. We use that for panini sandwiches and for grilled cheese. Unfortunately, our racks don't come off and it is a pain to clean.

An electrician could. Probably lengthen the cord.

Thank you for the recommendation.  I am in the market for a new George Foreman.  Our old one made the best bacon in the world.

nurseangel nurseangel The best feature about the grill is the ease in washing the cooking plates. They are dishwasher safe or can be hand washed. I was amazed when I put them in the dish pan and they just wiped clean.

Oh I'd love to test that one out!  A few years ago we asked for one with interchangeable plates for Christmas.  My mother usually asks for a few ideas.  She got it for us and it turned out to be a bit of a let down because the top plate is SO hard to clean!  It's got angled grooves. Tiny ones.  So things get trapped too easy.  I used to use it a lot; but we got so tired of scrubbing it with a brush that I don't even bother now.  I haven't done waffles in forever either.  It was nice to take the plates off and get them down in the sink.  I just wish that top plate had been designed better.  I've been wanting to make my blue cheese burgers; but I think we lost some of the non-stick function on it because the last time I tried to do turkey burgers they ended up being split right in half!  Half stuck to the top and half to the bottom.
