In the past I could only get my cats to eat Fancy Feast Classic but I had to stop feeding it because it would make them sick too often ..  I have only been feeding kibble for awhile .  I  decided to pick up a couple cans each of a few different brands .  My cats like all of them . How crazy is that ?  What is it with cats anyway ?

I am happy they like them all ..

4 Health Grain Free Chicken & Whitefish

Fancy Feast Broth ( it is just an appetizer &  doesn't have all the extra stuff that is in the canned food )

Blue Buffalo Flaked Chicken

Blue Buffalo Flaked Tuna

Homestyle Recipe Savannah Chicken Crockpot

Crazy, I guess they just wanted change
Yeah , I guess so .  They like all the brands I listed above .  My cats are extremely fickle so they may change their minds again but I will give them what they want for  as long as they eat it ..

I would stick to random cans, not cases, in case they change their minds.
Don't worry I never buy cases with these cats .. We have a little discount store ( sort of like Big Lots ) near our home and that is where I got all these cans .  They were only .50 cents each ..

I think "irrational" is the operative word.
You would think being shelter cats and living there for 5 months before we adopted them that  they would eat anything .

oh no, they have you to cater to their current tastes, that is more fun
Exactly, this is what they're taught in Cat School. "Maximum inconvenience to humans" is one of the key principles they're indoctrinated with, beginning with kitten courses.

I have a system, if the queen doesn't like it, the big boy disposal unit gets it, if he is not crazy about it, my little TNR feral gets it.
That's great ..

My cat is starting to show signs of being fickle and he was a shelter cat too. He used to eat ANYTHING but now that he's livin' the good life and knows he can get whatever  he wants, he's showing his true fickle colours!

But yay for your cats and getting them to eat wet food! I hope it lasts for a long time!

They think they are royalty!

Haha!! If my cat could say, " Off with her head!" I believe he probably would.

Very funny thread, the parts about being fickle. So glad I'm not the only one who has rejoiced at a certain cat eating expensive canned, gone out and bought like a case, then--NO NO NO--from said royalty. [emoji]128567[/emoji] You'd think it was garbage. No wait, he'd probably eat the garbage lol. The worst was when Robin was sick at one year old, the vet gave me one can of some RX brand which he scarfed up. $3.00 a can, I buy 10 more. Never touched a second drop.
