Aw, thanks.  I wonder if they will outgrow the cuddliness when they're no longer kittens but for now I'm enjoying the cuteness!  They fight a lot too, as kittens tend to do.

Pepper and Pickles have just stolen my heart!  I love their names!  I look forward to hearing more about this brother and sister.
Aw, thanks so much!  I am looking forward to getting to know them better.  Right now both are on opposite ends of the house.  "Distance makes the heart grow fonder" I suppose.

They need their "me" time I guess!  I have an only cat, Speedy, but I understand she had a sister who was adopted before I adopted Speedy to her fur-ever home.  I wonder if they would recognize each other today.  It is nice that you have Pepper and Pickles, brother and sister together.  You can tell they have a close bond from their photos.

I hope so.  They can scrap pretty fiercely too.  But they do cuddle together a lot and share a food dish (even though they do have their own).  I had actually originally brought home Pepper's other sister with him but within a day I knew it was the wrong choice.  She was shaking like a leaf the entire time and hissed whenever anyone got near.  Pepper would bully her too.  I have two small kids so I can't have a cat so afraid that it lashes out living in the same house.  My friend then mentioned the other kitten (my Pickles) was coming up to her for pets and rubs so the next afternoon I went back and made the switch.  And everyone (cat and human) has been MUCH happier.  My friend is going to keep the kitten (her young adult son had wanted that particular one anyways) and she took in another kitten the same age so it all works out.

Pepper is the best with the kids.  He's a bit braver than his sister so is less intimidated by the yelling and poking (my kids are only 4 and 1).  He is even starting to follow them around a bit.

Pickles is shyer and more easily spooked but she will be the first to crawl into my lap or onto my shoulder.  Pepper would rather sleep on the couch beside you.  She is getting braver around the kids too.  I've never seen her raise a paw at them--even when they both have her cornered.  Not bad for only being here 2 weeks.  She did hiss a bit the first day but I really worked on socializing her.
