Iv had to cut the cord for both kitten 4 and 5 mum is exausted now and won't do it.. Once she passed the placenta and the cord tuned white I cut it for her and rubbed the kitten off to dry it a little then I put them on to nurse she had no problem with me doing this and just lay puuring at me as if to say thanks [emoji]128571[/emoji]

Poor mama kitty. Has she had any nourishment?

The kitten will be alright at that weight as long as she nurses well.

Do you think this is it?

She had one more tiny kitten at 12.59am weighing 88g so that makes 6! no more sins then but I swear I can still feel at least 1 more lump in there! She's happy and content with her babies, all are feeding well, I woke up this morning to a tiny kitten next to my face! she braught 1 over to me and dropped it on my pillow and started to meyow at me and look down at the rest, I pannicked thinking she was rejecting them, turned out she wanted me to babysit while she had some breakfast and went to use the tray [emoji]128514[/emoji] I took the opportunity to clean up her nest and put down fresh warm bedding , there all snuggled back down now feeding, when she was done doing what she needed to do she sat back in her den and meyowed at me to say right give me my baby's back now [emoji]128514[/emoji] X iv been feeding her 4 meals of kitten food per day plus 1 meal of white fish, chicken breast, chicken livers, when she came to me 5 weeks ago she was very skinny she has no muscle or fur on her back end atall she has lost her fur and was jut skin and bone at the back end, you could feel every notch of her spine and her ribs even tho she was pregnant and her face was very gaunt, what iv been feeding her has worked wonders she's put enough weight on for her kittens and also for her self, her fur has grown back and is thick and glossy and she looks healthy again instead of like a walking skeleton :) so I think and hope iv given her enough nourishment?is there somthing else I should of done for her??

She also wanted to eat half a pouch of kitten food between giving birth to each kitten, she ate 3 of the placenta like adviced, she didn't even attempt to eat the rest she passed them and let me take them away and I had to cut the cord for #4 #5 #6 she was to exausted to do it herself x

Congratulations with the 6 kittens! I think the lumb you can still feel inside of her is the uterus that isn't unswollen yet. It is often mistaken for another kitten. But it can be a kitten too, so maybe you'll be surpriced soon with a 7th; but if not, don't worry either ;)

Sounds like you did everything you could for her. Keep her on the kittenfood (+ fresh food if you want) until the kittens are weened. She'll need all the extra energy now to produce milk and take care of her 6 kittens.

Congratulations!! Great job, gramma!!!

Its so touching that she picked you to babysit her kittens!! She really has wonderfully bonded with you!!! And she looks just amazing. And the kittens are cute! Can we get a pic of the wee one doing? How's that one doing?

Are you thinking of possibly keeping her and giving the kittens away, or are you really going to be able to place her after all this.

God bless fosters. That would kill me. I'd have to adopt them all.

I can't wait to hear the names you pick out for these babies. [emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️[emoji]10084[/emoji]️

@MrWhiskers I want to keep her so bad but I have 5 other cats and currently she won't tollarate 4 of them, she will only allow jess to come in the room with her ( before she had kittens) if any of the others even go to the door she goes mad at them.. I'm going to try and intergrate her in to my lot when her kittens are old enough but if it dosnt work out I will have to send her back for adoption at the center.. my brother is keeping 1 kitten and we are debating if we can't keep peppa then if we could keep a kitten, mine will all accept a kitten no problem, we tried once before to rescue a adult cat and it went horribly wrong and she had to go back, and here is kitten #6 I think it's a girl she is super tiny she is 88g

Aw. Kitten is adorable! Look at her tiny little paws!!!! I'm in [emoji]10084[/emoji]️!!!

I completely understand your situation. Mama cat is so sweet!! She should surely find her forever home quickly once people hear her story!! You are to be commended on her top notch care. You did a great job as a kitty midwife!

:) thank you x
Kitten one has gained weight from 105g to 125g
Kitten 2 has gained from 104g to112g
Kitten 3 has gained from 102g to 120g
Kitten 4 has lost from 107g to 102g
Kitten 5 has gained from 95g to 110g
And kitten 6 has gained from 88g to 95g

I'm worried that kitten 4 has lost weight when all the others have gained so I'm going to pets at home to buy so kitten formula xx

Thank you for your kind words yesterday. It meant a lot to me! And hearing about the Mom cat who rejected her kittens and the reason why. It really helped me!

Congrats on your kittens! They are so cute!!
