I already have Tangerine and Mango who are now 9 months old and a friend of mine who watches my cats for me when I'm gone, told me about a situation where someone didn't spay their cat and it had kittens and they weren't taking proper care of them so she is going to help get them adopted to good families. So like I said she came to me about it and after lots of thought I said why not. So below are pictures of my two new guys that I will hopefully get this week after neutering, shots, check up, etc is done. The animal hospital is running a get two kittens for the price of one so I figured better at my house then in a shelter cage.

Well I won't be adopting either of those kittens. I found out today that the shelter is looking for someone to take their mother and know that kittens will go quicker then their mom who is 2 years old I have decided to adopt the mom instead. The person handling the adopting is bring her over on Saturday morning to a proper meet and greet with my 8-9 month male kittens (Tangerine and Mango)  so everything gets off on the right foot. My boys are already neutered and the mom has already been spayed and everyone is updated on their shots until early 2016.

So here is the new addition to the brood:

Butterscotch

She is a beauty! You are very sweet to take her into your home.
Thanks. People mostly go for the kittens and forget that there are wonderful adult cats also at shelter just as sweet and loving to be adopted out as well.

Hi everyone. Sorry I didn't get back to you guys earlier. The person came over at 9 pm and left at 1215 am to help with introductions and so I could meet Butterscotch and her three boys (others have already been adopted). Oh and just so everyone knows everybody is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, etc.

So anyways, introductions went great. We switched it up who was in the cat pen and who was out so they could get use to each other and we did the introductions in my bedroom so we could keep an eye on everyone.

Butterscotch pretty much just laid on my bed and just relaxed and Tangerine and Mango really came over to her and sniffed and stuff, but really didn't bother Butterscotch to much.

I could tell right away when Butterscotch fell asleep in my arms that there would be no problem or worry what so ever with Butterscotch transitioning well just by herself. She is such a laid back wonderful cat who just loves to sit next to you and be petted.

So here is the new brood:

Tangerine

Mango

Butterscotch

Good on you for taking an adult cat.
They are precious and I love all their names!
Thanks. The 3 kittens will get adopted at dome point plus Butterscotch is such a sweetheart. Most of the day she likes either laying around my room (master bed room, lots of space) or being under my bed. This is a new environment with someone who actually takes care of her, who was just spayed late Monday so she's getting over that as well. She's eating, drinking, using the litter box and comes visit me when she wants. She loves to be petted and at night she sleeps right next to me.
