My sweetie pie Yunis.

Yunis is 5 years old and has been with us for almost a year.  He is front declawed (by his previous owner).  Not only were they cruel enough to declaw him, but they abandoned him when they moved.  He was in a foster home when I first met him because he couldn't handle the shelter environment.  He was very shy and timid when we first brought him home, but has since come out of his shell and proven to be a sweet and playful love bug.  I love him so much and am so glad to have given him a home.

@Tamu708: My Mocha was declawed on all four paws by her previous owner. When I first I met her at the shelter, she was soooo shy and scared. She hated it at the shelter and she even seemed a bit traumatized to me. She stayed quiet in the corner of her cage, with her head turned toward the wall...She didnt move or make one sound. But, she has done a total 180! It's amazing how well they respond when they are given the proper care.

Oh wow, he looks like the sweet little kitty I had as a wee lad. Her name was Olivia, and she could have been his identical twin sister. Uncanny resemblance!
