Hi guys I was wondering what type of dry food you all feed your babies. I give my cats Natural Choice Duck and potatoes, also Chicken and brown rice, but I'd like to try something better. I was looking at taste of the wild rocky mountain, I have a long hair cat and I want his fur to be shine and beautiful.

I use Nature's Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient Turkey Formula and Pride by Instinct Diva's Recipe (Duck/Turkey).

I have 3 long haired kitties (1 Maine Coon mix) and all have very healthy coats.

I've fed TotW (Canyon River) before and all did ok on it.

I don't feed dry on a regular basis but when I do give it to them it's Nature's Variety Instinct Limited Ingredient Diet turkey. Orijen is a very good quality food as well but it's not as readily available in stores as NVI is. The big box pets stores don't carry it.

My cat eats Royal Canin and Meow Mix dry food and if you want good food then feed Orijen, Acana, Wellness or Nature's Variety Instinct.

I feed wet and only give dry as treats. I give Merrick chicken in yellow bag, very tiny kibble. This very tiny kibble does not make my girl throw up! Because cats don't chew they swallow kibble whole and throw up because they cannot digest it. This kibble is perfect for sensitive stomachs and those who throw up!

We feed Performatrin Ultra Grain Free.  It`s not the best of the best but it`s a more manageable price for us and our kitties seem to really like it.  Brands like ToTW and Merricks are at least $10 more where we are.  We did feed a can of ToTW (wet) the other day and the kitties got diarrhea so I`m a little wary about that brand now.

Mine wouldn't even touch the TOTW wet.  Have you tried the Merrick pates? Mine love those. Especially the duck, turkey and chicken. Pride by Instinct has some great canned foods too.

Cats are all so different, I was thrilled to find a kibble she kept down, mine was a twice a week vomiter on other brands of kibble even in tiny treat portions. The only conclusion I can come to is the tiny size of kibble and no fish. I bought it for a feral I trapped and my cat was salivating over the bag so I gave her a few bits, and go figure Viola! Glad I stumbled upon it, it breaks up the boredom as a treat!

They sure are . I am glad you found something your kitty can eat ..   I had to stop the FF because it was making my cats sick .  I finally found a wet food they like .  They ate two meals of it today and licked the dish clean .  It is  Tractor Supply's  4 Health Grain Free canned .   It is really good ingredients too ..

I think they are all playing us so they can sample everything. I bought 48 cans of FF for my TNR kitty, and I haven't seen her once after her spay![emoji]128576[/emoji][emoji]128062[/emoji] she probably hates me now!

Wow , she is a beauty ..   As a product I don't have a problem with FF but it just does not agree with my cats for some reason ..

I haven't tried Merrick for these kitties yet but I have fed it to my old cat who seemed to love it.  But my old cat (a dilute tabby/calico) was sort of like a trash compactor.  She would eat anything!  She must have had an iron stomach because I could even switch kibble on her to no ill-effect.  She only ever turned her nose up at the no-name brand of kibble.
