Alabama Cat Lady

Hi everyone. I am Martha. New here. Been a cat lady since I was born. A cat saved my life when I was a baby. The house my parents and I lived in filled with gas and the cat (Smokey) jumped on Mom and Dad as they slept waking them up then the cat went to my crib and guarded me till my parents removed me and the cat to safety. I've always had a way with animals but cats are my kindred.

At the moment I have 9.

Yes I REALLY need these cats. LOL. I love my sweet kitty family.

Also forgot to add I feed 2 "community cats" Blue was abandoned by a neighbor when they moved. She is SUPER friendly and happens to be the mother of Dixon, Fleckie, Sweetie, Puddin', & Moxley. Dale is a tom cat who just lives in the community I live in. He's just now becoming FRIENDLY with me cause I talk to him and feed him. He's the daddy to DIXON.

What a lovely kitty family.  I think they're all sweet and I love the creativity in their names.  Dot-dot and Jellybean especially tickle my fancy (as a name).   They're all adorable even if Dot-dot is giving the stink eye.  ha ha
