I am so happy today! I have had a really cr*ppy christmas and holiday season, what with my grandad dying and my mom and everyone going back to Cape Town for the holidays. It had actually been a horrible year! One of the worst ever. However, I took Tarka to the specialist vet on Wednesday because she was really not doing very well. She was dragging herself around more than actually even standing up. He told me that the prognosis was that she actually would never be very much better than she currently is, and that he just hoped that another disk didn't collapse.
He gave me cortisone for her though to see if it helps, and showed me special physio exercises that I have to do with her every evening and morning. She also has to lose weight...
Anyway, already last night i thought that she was doing better and this morning the improvement is marked! She is standing more than dragging. And although she is a little unsteady on her feet, is a lot more mobile! So I am feeling a LOT better about my bug! Just thought that I would share!
