I might be crazy or hallucinating, but I swear the strangest thing just happened. I saw a yellow thing go flying up in the air on the other side of the room. One of my cats that was sitting beside me saw it too, and he went running across the room to investigate. As it turns out, it was one of his little plastic ring toys that he loves to play with. I had not seen the yellow one in months. I assumed he had lost it under a piece of furniture, like he always does with most of his toys.
My dad just died recently. His funeral was last week. He did live with me, but he never
played with the cats, and truth be told, he did not care for them very much. We also did not get along very well. Could this be a sign from my dad, or am I reading WAY too much into this? Could there be another logical explanation for the toy flying up like that? It just flew a short distance (maybe two or three feet) and was just a few inches off the ground.
