Domino only ate a teaspoon merrick wet today. I had to give him his dry hills cd because I know he could get sick from not eating.
I've not used the methigel as he won't eat regular wet.
When I used to sneak my others friskies wet he climbed the walls for it. But the high end wet he says ehh.
What to do.

I know your vet said not to use Purina because she does not like but in my opinion if he wants the Friskies wet give it to him . That fancy wet food or medication does no good if he won't eat it .

He still won't try the wet food.
I am going to petsmart tomorrow. I will try purina, friskies and Sheba.
All other kitties eat the wet and sometimes steal his cd. So at least I'm feeling better that I'm not feeding cd to all 5 kitties like I was.

@2Cats4Me
I am trying that too. IMHO I think any wet food is better than dry.
You  are so right . I hope he likes it .   My cats cannot eat FF anymore but I finally found a wet food they like .  It is Tractor Supply's 4 Health Grain Free canned . They actually like it ..

@2Cats4Me
Why can't they eat the FF anymore?
 Well FF was the one and only wet food they would eat but they kept have occasional bouts of digestive issues such as vomiting and diarrhea .  I just could not  give it to them anymore just for the sake of giving them wet food . They have been eating kibble  only and no issues at all . .   I  just found that new wet  food at Tractor Supply , I am so glad my cats like it ..

And we have a winner!
Domino ate some friskies chicken and gravy prime fillets.
I'm not sure if this is a good food for him, that's the only down side.

Hey , that is awesome ..   Honestly it is not the best but  sometime you gotta go with what the likes .     What is important is that he is eating the wet food so he can take his medicine .

I've tried all I can but Domino will only eat the dry c/d.
All of my other cats now eat wet and occasionally steal a bite of his c/d.
I am no longer free feeding and in a month domino lost 4 oz.

You can only do so much . You have tried your very best . You just cannot force a cat to eat something they do not like .  If the dry C/D is  working for him that is good ..

My big boy needs to lose weight as well  . I finally got him eating wet food twice a day but he will only eat it if I sprinkle some Purina One Smartblend Healthy Metabolism kibble on top ..  I bought Wysong Epigen but they will not eat it .  Thankfully it won't go to waste because the Crows & Bluejays love it .
