our new kitten had a dose of pyrantel last week and is due for another dose yesterday, but I don't have any of that as it is prescription.  but, they gave him some revolution and I noticed that the revolution says it combats worms... so do you think the revolution is sufficient, or should I do Piperazine on top of it?

I would wait and call the vet and ask them.  However, you will most likely have to do a second application.  The vet can tell you when to apply the next round of meds.

Ok, I will call them today.  I was hoping to wait until they have their clinic at the end of the month, but not if it is going to make everything come right back!

A lot of medications are contraindicated with Piperazine. Revolution is an anti-parasite medicine that combats worms, mites, and fleas. Call the vet, but I don't think you should give him anything else.

I called them this morning and they said he should probably have another dose of the pyrantel, but it can wait until we go to their clinic even at the end of this month.  because the revolution will keep any infestation under control if he has one.  we shall see!!! :)
