My lovely cat AJ had 5 beautiful healthy kittens 2 days ago and I've just noticed they have fleas [emoji]128532[/emoji] am I correct in thinking I can use advantage spot on treatment on AJ and it be safe for the kittens while nursing?

Advantage II  if you can choose.

Otherwise try and collect up as many of the fleas as you can, as soon you can get to it.   By fingers or using a comb.

Thank you I've got some advantage on the way and I will comb and pick as much as possible until it arrives. I don't think there are many but want to get this problem sorted asap for the sake of both mum and babies

You can also give mom a capstar pill right away and it will kill all of the adult fleas within 2 hours. It is safe for nursing mothers and also safe to give once every 24 hours. It is also safe to use with Advantage.

So my kittens are now almost 5 weeks old, I managed to get rid of all fleas on babies and mum but they're back [emoji]128532[/emoji] I've treated AJ with advantage but is there anything else I can do?
I comb all 7 cats (I have another adult female) daily and have treated furnishings etc as well, I've read about using dawn dish soap but I'm in the UK and we dont have that here that I can find.
I'm slightly wary of bathing the kittens as I'm not sure they're old enough right now, any advice would be great

Kittens are old enougj to be bathed, but you must use a very gentle dish soap.

They are also old enough for a couple of drops of Advantage on their own necks.
