Glad she came back.  I wondered if she might since it's safer for her to give birth inside.

I'm relieved she's back.

Perhaps before you let your dog out you could make sure the cat is in a bedroom behind a closed door.

Hurray for your other kitty coming in to get some attention!

We have to do something she's getting more and more animate about getting out.

Also, I thought at this stage the kittens wouldn't be moving around as much, they are incredibly active, I tried to YouTube videos of early contractions and all I come up with is the strong about to have a kitted contractions. I am honestly unsure if what I'm seeing is the kittens moving or small contractions. Feels like kittens moving tho.

She thinks she needs to go find a nest outside. She doesn't. She really needs to have her kittens inside.

You will know when she's in labor. She'll let you know :).

I also noticed the area right around all her nipples is swollen, I'd assume this is her milk starting to come in. No leakage.

She's just confusing me, has some signs of being really close and some signs of keeping shop closed up for a while longer. I really hope she doesnt have them while I'm at work next week

I am glad you got her back inside. Things like that can be so worrisome.

I don't like waiting games lol she has since stopped trying toget out, she has been hiding out underneath my bed all day. Still eating like you'd think I starve her. (She has kitten dry food and regular wet food BC she doesn't like the kitten wet food) I refill it every time its 'kitty empty' meaning that there is a ring of food but you can see the bottom of the dish in the center

It must take so much patience to wait for these little ones to make their entrance. I have had a lot of cats over the years, only two females and they both were spayed. So I can't imagine what you cat mamas are going through with the waiting game.

It's basically anytime now! I doubt you'll have to wait much longer :).

She's gonna be a turd and do it while I'm at work. Do they usually stop using the litter box (or floor in her case) right before? She hasn't gone since this morning and she's eaten ALOT

When i was 8 I had a chow chow.. My mom bought her for her but she quickly chose me as her main human. She hudini'd off her lead and double harness and went and made nice with what we later discovered (when she had puppies) a pit. We didn't even know she was pregnant. She went to bed with me as usual that night and about 9pm she jumped up on the bed and started digging and doing circles. Got the light on and she had 2 puppies out and went through all 8 pretty quick.

They usually empty their bowels before delivery. Cat labor can go quick or slow. It's hard to predict!

At what point should I get concerned that she hasn't used the bathroom?

If she's eating a lot she will eventually need to go. She went this morning so I would not be worried right now.

Well I leave the house tomorrow morning at 730 and won't return until about 630 tomorrow evening. That's my concern. She's had the runs so I don't think constipation is the issue. Her diet nor habits (except hiding and no longer trying to escape) havnt changed over the last few days.

She'll be okay. I think her runs are end of pregnancy related. Maybe she will have the kittens tonight or wait until tomorrow night when you're home.

I hope she has her kittens tonight or after you get home tomorrow night. I understand the concern part, I feel the same with my girl. If you are concerned, is there anyone who could check on her while you are at work?
