It certainly sounds as though your cat is put out, to say the least, and letting you know how she feels about it!

First she is shipped away from home to a strange new environment for a week, and then she comes home to find that the house smells of a foreign animal who is nowhere to be found.

She is naturally confused and upset that her routine was changed and that something invaded the space she calls her territory.

This is a situation that will take time and patience. As your cat adjusts to being home and the dog's scent wears away, she will hopefully calm down and return to her normal sweet self. I would offer treats and pet her kindly when she decides to allow it. Cats are known to "punish" their owners when their feelings are hurt.

Next time you dog-sit is it possible to leave the cat home? Seems she would prefer to hide under the bed at home with the dog there than to be banished!

I think that's a good idea. Your cat will likely settle down over the next few days to a week. She's just upset. She will get over it :).

That's sad actually. Tells you how upset she is. Is she better today?
