Cat Music?

Lately i've been playing my new kitten cat music from youtube. It claims to help relax and develop the minds of kittens and cats. What are your opinions? Actually helpful or just another hoax?

I've never heard of music written especially for cats before but it wouldn't surprise me if it worked. A lot of people use classical and/or harp music to help a cat relax for things like grooming or to help a cat get acclimated to a new home environment. 

Oh yeah! I've heard of that, classical music is amazing. I've heard playing it for plants actually makes them grow faster! It's no surprise that it would help calm a kitty since it's a proven relaxer for us humans

I'm not sure I believe the "developing minds" bit, but I'm sure the right music could relax some cats! I know there are some songs made for cats that you can find samples of here. I tried getting my cats to listen to them but they didn't seem to care.

Kat0121 theres actually a whole youtube channel decicated to making a whole playlist of cat music that help them relax or even hype them up!

Miriette same! I always play it for my cat but he's already a calm cat so ive never really seen a difference
