My cat started this new thing....

I have two cats. and they have automatic feeders. Their food comes out at 5am, which I love because it allows me to sleep without them begging for food. The last 3-4 days Zoey has started this thing where at about 6:15 am, she goes crazy. Meowing at me, attacking the blinds, basically just trying to wake me up. She has never done this before. Normally both cats come and sleep in my bed after eating until I get up (I'm a teacher on summer vacation and I don't usually wake up until 8:30 or 9).

What could have suddenly caused her to start this? Is there any way to stop it?

How much food comes out at 5?
Does each cat have their own feeder or do they share?
Is it possible that your other cat is eating Zoey's portion of the food and, by 6:15, she is hungry?

They each have their own. And no. Zoey is the much more aggressive of the two and eats much faster than Luna. It would be more likely reversed if that were ever to happen.
