My 18 year old cat Lily has CRF and she is hiding under my bed. We are putting her to sleep tomorrow if she doesn't go tonight.

Awww, bless her.  I'm so sorry!  I do know how you feel.  I just posted about losing my Gracie over a week ago now.  So sorry!

Lily is gorgeous. Please know that I'm thinking of you both at this difficult time - my cat passed a few days ago, and I understand the pain of seeing a beloved animal in  pain. Sending love to you both.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that. She's so pretty. I, too, hope her transition over the bridge is as gentle and peaceful as possible with many friendly faces there to greet her and help her get settled.

You and she will be in my thoughts. I have a Lily too (Lilith) and I don't know what I would do without her.

We are all here for you during this time and after for when you need to talk/vent or whatever. Death cannot break the bond that we have with our beloved pets. Nothing can. It's just too strong.

They leave such a hole in our lives and our hearts when they go, it's an emptiness that seems unending at times. My heart breaks for what you are going through, it is so hard to say goodbye to such a valued member of your family. You gave her 18 years of love and happiness, I would wish the same for all of our loved ones. Please accept my sincere condolences, and always remember.... cats are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole. May you be blessed for loving so much to hurt so bad, take care of yourself......RIP sweet Lily!
