I went to buy my cat food just now, Solid Gold Alaskan Pollock, and it looks like they're not selling it anymore, in any store. I liked it because it's grain free, low calorie, low fat, and ALL my cats liked it! Anyone know of  a comparable dry food? I have 4 cats: 1 senior (who is overweight), two 1yr olds (one is a little chunky, the other is super hyper and fit), and one 2yr old (also hyper and fit, and prone to bladder stones and blockages).

My main concerns are that it be grain free, low fat and calorie, and not have a history of causing bladder crystals. I hate that I even have to look for new food. This one was working well for all my cats.

Any suggestions??

Could you order online? I've never done it before, but my sister orders all her dog food online and swears by it. It would be a shame for you to have to change food after finding one that works well for all your cats.

I may have to. It's extra money for shipping, but if I can't find a comparable food, I won't have a choice.  Where does your sister order her food from?

Awesome ,  now you wont have to change food . It is probably hard to find in stores because it is a fairly new formula .
I was finding it in stores just fine until now. The petco I go to sold it. I bought enough for a month (cause I hate shopping lol), and I guess between then and now, they stopped selling it. They won't special order it, either.

Did you try Chewy.com? They have a lot. Is Petco discontinuing the entire Solid Gold line? I occasionally feed my guy the Tuna or the Tuna with sardines, in the can. If they are I will go down there this week and get a few more. I only use it when he is very fussy.

@wolflover326  ...You can also buy on Amazon for free shipping on a 12 pound bag ..

That's more than what I'm paying, and I could save a dollar by buying from Petco right now. ^_^ I think I may just end up ordering it, though.

I haven't yet. I'll look! I did ask the manager if they were discontinuing the whole line, and she said not that she knew of, but in retail, anything could happen tomorrow. :-/

Yeah , Unfortunately sometimes it works out that way but if you get desperate at least you know where to find it ..

My sister uses Amazon. I cannot remember which food she uses, but I think they carry just about everything under the sun :)
I've been having issues finding our kitty litter and may have to turn to the internet, too.

I use Amazon.Com & Chewy.Com   Both are great .   Amazon has some great deals on Subscribe & Save ( which is free shipping ) for pet food .   Check it out ..

Thanks for the links! I'm researching them now. :-)

Chewy does sell it but there will be a shipping charge unless your order is $49 or more

I've been looking at online sites. If I continue to buy monthly, that'll be two bags, so I should get free shipping. I just need to decide whether to switch or order online.

I went ahead and bought one bag of SG Chicken and TOTW Venison and Salmon. They're not comparable by fat and calorie content, but they're still good, and I needed something now, not a week from now. Has anyone had any experience with TOTW?

My two eat TOTW venison and salmon dry and love it.
