Hi everyone!

Hello! I'm Miriette, a 23 year old nerd who loves video games, fashion, and using up all my phone's storage to take pictures of my cats sleeping. I'm also really bad at introductions.

My boyfriend and I adopted our first kitty, Luke, from a shelter back in February. He's been my best buddy since and starts every morning by meowing excitedly when I wake up. We also recently took in a stray named Lucien whom I found crying and hungry underneath a car. He followed me home and climbed all over my lap, and I didn't want to think about leaving him out there by himself so we had to let him stay. Luke lets me know that I'm a backstabbing traitor by angrily meowing at me when I'm cuddling with Lucien.

Lucien seems to like Luke a lot. He's started imitating some of Luke's behavior and tries to play with him a few times a day. Luke's not quite as comfortable with the new guy though. He'll tolerate Lucien until the little guy gets way too close and then he'll hiss or swat at him. He's like a middle aged man feeling threatened by a toddler haha. He did look like he was about to try playing with Lucien last night but he must have reconsidered at the last second because he sped off down the hallway instead. I'm hoping they'll become good friends soon!
