Good morning.

Today's question is what do you have in your bag?

In my bag there is;

* One red leather wallet containing credit cards, health insurance cards. alien registration cards and about 5,000 Japanese yen.

* One fake fur coin case containing a handful of small change.

* One lilac coloured hand towel.

* One post office account book.

* One Burt's Bees lip balm.

* One Body Shop lip balm.

* Keys for my bike.

* House keys.

* Reusable shopping bag.

* One sachet of Whiskers Tuna and one packet of Crispy Kisses cat treats. (I'm sure I'm not the only one who carries cat food around.)

* One tube of hand cream.

* Half a packet of blueberry sours chewy sweets.

* A black cat good luck charm.

* My cell phone.

* A cloth for cleaning sun glasses. (No sun glasses though.)

What's in your bag?

That's pretty much it. If I have a slightly bigger bag (today's was tiny) I also have a small hairbrush and handwarmers, and usually gloves/wristwarmers.

I'm more likely to have dog food/treats than cat food in my bag - we keep cat food in the car, in the tack room at the yard and in our feed room too. For that reason, cat food in my bag isn't usually necessary, but bribery and corruption for the labrador often is :lol3:

Wallet w/checkbook

2 key rings, 1 for car and house. The other miscellaneous.

Kindle

Collapsible headphones

Sheisado lip balm

1 sumatripin pill for possible migraine relief

A few tampons just in case

Cell phone

2 pens (not sure why there are 2)

Stimudent (tooth picks)

Sunglasses/case

Rescue inhaler for asthma attacks

Loose change

Dental floss

That's it. Sometimes there's a small umbrella, usually during the work week if weather looks threatening.

Wallet with all the usual things, plastic, drivers license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance.  A small amount of cash maybe $10

At the moment my checkbook.  I only write one check a month for rent.  I dropped my rent check off yesterday so my checkbook is still in my purse.

The ever present change in the bottom..

My key ring with car key, apt key and mail box key.

A small bottle of some type of pain reliever.  I always keep something in my purse for headache.

I think that is it.  Since I started working from home I don't keep as many different things in my purse.

I don't like to carry stuff around, so most days I go out with just a little wallet that holds cards and IDs. I usually have my phone in one pocket, and my keys and the wallet in the other pocket.

If I'm in the car and will be driving for a while, I'll also take along a little insulated bag with water bottles and an ice pack in it. We call it the water-purse.

If I'm going to be waiting somewhere (for car maintenance or whatever), I take my briefcase that has my hairbrush, lip balm, sunglasses, umbrella, ventolin, and either a book or 3DS. If I have to get work done for my job while I'm waiting, then the MacBook goes in there, too.

I wish I could downsize to just a wallet, but I can't. The smaller the bags I buy, the more stuff I squeeze in them!!

Right now I have:

Wallet

Asthma inhaler

Purell hand disinfectant

travel size hand cream

pen (2)

scratch paper (post it notes)

tissues

Burts Bees lip balm

cell phone

eyeglass wipes

ID

nail file

Keys-----car, apartment, building

and the assorted store cards attached to the key ring

I think that is it, but I can never find room in it! It has lots of pockets, so I put stuff in there. Does not look like much on paper, but it feels so heavy!!

Purse:

Maroon wallet with various store cards, debit card, and 24.00 cash

lip balm

extra phone charger (1 wall and 1 car)

cell phone

kleenex

hand sanitizer

screen cleaner wipes for cell phone

3 black pens

extra paper

picture of my daughter

emergency information on a notecard

extra doses of all my meds (in case I forget to take one)

flash drive

nail file/clippers

hair brush

Target Ad so I can go school shopping this week

keys

10.00 emergency cash

small Target bag (folds into tiny pocket)

pencil

a novel I'm reading

4 cash register receipts from May (time to clean out my purse I guess!)

extra pair of sunglasses

small bottle of lotion

shopping list for Monday

variety of coins in the bottom

tylenol/excedrin

Just looking through my list, it's no wonder I can never find what I need in my purse.
 Too much stuff!

"Therapy" bag:

journal

pens

hand sanitizer

screen cleaner wipes

tablet

bottle of water

smooth stone (to rub when I'm nervous or anxious

small bag of crackers

small stuffed bear

small blanket to comfort me when my PTSD is acting up

extra anxiety meds

excedrin

crayons

small notebook for drawing or coloring (stress reliever)

Interesting question. Thanks!

...with the cats...
hmmm......i don't own a 'bag' or purse. i do use a smallish and very lightweight nylon backpack when i'm going somewhere like shopping occasionally. i keep my wallet in it with ID, credit card, bank card, assorted store cards (the kind that just allow you to receive the on sale prices, not charge cards), coins, and i rarely carry much more than a few dollar bills. i have some bic pens, a little travel sized pack of kleenex, and i think i still have a bunch of assorted lego's that my nephew gave me several years ago in it. i also have a small wire bound note pad in my backpack. i'm pretty sure that's all, i don't really keep much in the backpack -- only things i may need while i'm occasionally shopping. well, the lego's have sentimental value.

I don't know if I could list it...  I'll summarize this way.  I went to a baby shower and they played a game where everyone got a list of items and you got so many points for each item.  Harder items (ie a rock) were worth more points than common.  I won that contest by a landslide.  And it was timed so I likely had MORE items that I could have counted if I hadn't run out of time.  And yes; I had a rock in my purse.
I need a tiny kitchen sink to put in there so I can say "everything including the kitchen sink."

I have 2 young kids so....

2 diapers, a pull up, diaper rash cream, teething medicine, a dried out baby wipe, a bottle of bubbles, baby mum mums, a small bottle of kids shampoo, 2 necklaces, a foldable potty seat, 2 pouches of baby food, gum, my wallet, a fruit cup, sunscreen, advil, Tylenol, face powder, one random kids sock, mints, a kids sunscreen stick, bandaids, feminine products, a packaged cookie, 2 pairs of my daughter's sunglasses, arrowroot cookies and fruit snacks.

There's usually baby wipes, kids clothes and drinks too but we just got back from a 5.5 hour drive (each way) trip and I emptied that stuff to wash clothes and the drinks were gone.
