Hi

I have a 1 year old, strictly indoor, cat named Daisy. I adopted her from the SPCA, which she was Declawed by her previous owners, and so far except for having feline viral rhinotracheitis, she has been pretty good here in the home. Today though I found something troubling. she is limping and favoring her front left leg. Now I had been working up in my room and heard her and my other cat meowing. This is usual for them and I paid no attention since their always like this at night. And about 30 minutes ago, I saw her coming up the stairs with a limp. I had to chase her to check, and when I did there was no blood, darkened fur, or forgin object from what I could tell, though she did snarl at me. From what I have guess in checking her a few times the issue seems to be mostly in between 1 tow on the far left, in between the main pad and the toe pad, as when I got my fingure to try and feel for anything, she snarled and growled.

Now she does seem to be able to run a bit if need be but limps afterwards. I have not introduced new animals, plants or other objects into the house. I didn't feel anything weird when checking her paw, but I was trying to check it myself and didn't get a chance to look. She has been kept up to date with her flee and Worm medicine, and I didn't hear anything crash or break before. She does often jump from high places but she has landed fine many times

If anyone could help me I would appreciate it. I can't take her to the vet until monday though since we only have 1 vet in this town and it closes on the weekend, with the next one a town away, and I don't have a car or my full license. I am worried about her though and anyone who can help me figure this out I greatly apperciate

It's so hard to say without being there, but you're on the right track with a vet visit. They may do xrays or they may say just watch and wait. Hopefully it's just a soft tissue injury that will heal and go away soon. Best of luck!
