One of my cats, Lulu, 8 months old female, started acting slightly different today. Usually she is very active and extremely playful but today she seems sleepy and kind of tired. And she also is being overly affectionate, won't leave me alone today, starts grooming me out of nowhere. But the one thing that scares me a little is that her third eyelid is showing, mostly when she is falling asleep or grooming herself (which I know is normal). It does go away if she gets alert but very slowly and a little bit of it is still showing, I have never noticed that about her before. I am going to take her to a vet but probably not very soon because we have just payed a giant bill after taking both of my cats for their first vet visit. I just want to know if I should be concerned about it and take her to an animal hospital immediately?

It does not sound like an emergency but i would keep a close eye on her the next 1-2 days and observe her for any changes or progressions to these bahaviors, or any new symptoms.

Is she eating ok and the usual amount, peeing and pooping?

I don't see any changes in her appetite and seems like she uses her litter box as usual.

I don't see anything else different in her, other than her third eyelids being visible and her being lazy, she doesn't really want to play but she eats like usual and I make sure they always have bowls of fresh water around the house. I can't think of anything that could happen to her, she got her all her shots done not very long ago and she's never been outside. And thank you for your reply! I was so worried about my kitten!

It's possible that she is giving you subtle signs that something is wrong and its almost always better to catch something early so either for peace of mind or early detection i think you can't go wrong with a vet checkup.
