My little angel Gracie

My poor baby was sick for awhile . I kept bringing her to the vet but they were unsure what was wrong with her . After a few visits the vet said she probably had Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) She just kept losing weight and kept having bad diarrhea . She finally lost her battle  on the 29th I am so heartbroken . Now i have a huge vet bill and can not get her ashes back home till i pay off the balance . I just want her home with me . I can not stop crying .

I"m so sorry, Dezziy!  When I saw your title I almost dropped my jaw.  My kitty was named Gracie too, and her story is similar to yours.  After months of being sick where the vets tried one ineffective treatment after another, I had her put to sleep last Thursday on the 23rd.  I've had so many vet bills this year alone that i've maxed out 2 credit cards, so I well know the feeling of not being able to pay.  I so wish there were something I could do to help besides sympathize, but I'm pretty much in the same boat as you.  So maybe it helps knowing you aren't alone?  I hope so.  I'm so sorry about your Gracie.

I'm so sorry for your loss, and sorry for the pain of losing such a sweet member of your family. You did all you could, and even above what most would have done, my heart goes out to you. Just keep paying what little you can towards the bill, remember that part of her is bound to the earth, her spirit and 'essence' will always be with you and live on in your heart. She will always love you for giving her a home and love, try to remember the good moments and not dwell on the bad. Tell your story on face book and see if anyone would donate a small amount towards getting her ashes back, put it in as a memorial fund and tell them how much it would mean to you. I wish you all the luck, and want to thank you for making that little girl happy on this earth.I'll be praying for you both, take care of yourself........ I'm so sorry about Gracie. It is so hard when we lose members of our furry family and they are never with us long enough. I hope you are able to bring her ashes home soon - it will help to have her with you. It troubles me that Gracie's ashes are being held until you can pay the bill - that must make things even harder.

Time will help, though you will never forget. Just remember you gave her a good life and she loved you as much as you loved her. May you find comfort in happy memories.
