Well, we have a new addition to our family.

On our way to our aunt's house, my sister and I stopped at a pizza place to pick up a six pack of Woodchuck (for me). On my way back to the car, I noticed that my sister was taking to 2 young boys and was looking down at the ground. When I got closer I saw that she was actually looking at a little kitten! It had been following the boys for more than a mile at that point, along a busy road. So, long story short, I'm now the proud mommy of Marshmallow and Graham (like graham crackers). He's a sweet little, orangey-brown tabby. He looks to be about 6 months old. I have him seperated from Marshy. He has already eaten and drank and used his litter box! He's also having a BLAST on the cat tree. Hopefully my sister will come and take pictures soon.

I hope that he and Marshy will get along well. I feel like a horrible mommy right now b/c I'm in with Graham, when I would usually be sleeping with Marshmallow.

Happy New Year

Oh Jillian! That was so sweet of you to rescue him!
I am sure Graham and Marshmallow will get used to each other very soon! Let us know how it goes! But remember to get him fixed when he is a bit older...otherwise you might have have a litter of S'mores!!!
(sorry...couldn't resist that bad joke!)

By the way...what is a 6 pack of Woodchuck?

Woodchuck is an apple cider draft from Vermont. It's like beer but it tastes yummy.

... and the s'more thing... that's exactly why we named him Graham!

I have never heard of Woodchuck...is it kind of an apple flavored beer then? I am celebrating New Years with some Spumante (sp?) and a few beers...by myself...hubby is sick. I didn't mean any offense with the s'mores joke.
(but is making me hungry)

I like Woodchuck! Yum - Debby, it is apple cider with alcohol in it.

Congrats on your new addition!

Aww, Graham seems to be a very friendly little guy. I am sure Marshmallow and him will get along in no time. Congratulations!

Can't wait for pics....he sounds like an angel. I agree - now you need a dark cat named chocolate!
