Our New Year's Addition

Well, we have a new addition to our family.

On our way to our aunt's house, my sister and I stopped at a pizza place to pick up a six pack of Woodchuck (for me). On my way back to the car, I noticed that my sister was taking to 2 young boys and was looking down at the ground. When I got closer I saw that she was actually looking at a little kitten! It had been following the boys for more than a mile at that point, along a busy road. So, long story short, I'm now the proud mommy of Marshmallow and Graham (like graham crackers). He's a sweet little, orangey-brown tabby. He looks to be about 6 months old. I have him seperated from Marshy. He has already eaten and drank and used his litter box! He's also having a BLAST on the cat tree. Hopefully my sister will come and take pictures soon.

I hope that he and Marshy will get along well. I feel like a horrible mommy right now b/c I'm in with Graham, when I would usually be sleeping with Marshmallow.

Happy New Year

Oh Jillian! That was so sweet of you to rescue him! I am sure Graham and Marshmallow will get used to each other very soon! Let us know how it goes! But remember to get him fixed when he is a bit older...otherwise you might have have a litter of S'mores!!! (sorry...couldn't resist that bad joke!)

By the way...what is a 6 pack of Woodchuck?

Woodchuck is an apple cider draft from Vermont. It's like beer but it tastes yummy.

... and the s'more thing... that's exactly why we named him Graham!

OMG Debby...S'Mores! Woman, that was funny!

I have never heard of Woodchuck...is it kind of an apple flavored beer then? I am celebrating New Years with some Spumante (sp?) and a few beers...by myself...hubby is sick. I didn't mean any offense with the s'mores joke. (but is making me hungry)

I like Woodchuck! Yum - Debby, it is apple cider with alcohol in it.

Congrats on your new addition!

If you're going to have s'mores, you'll need a dark cat, named Chocolate
