Our Longhaired Kitten is loosing fur, getting bald patches. Help.

Help! My Maine Coon kitten has just been neutered and not only is he now shedding all his hair (he now looks like when he was 4 months) but he's actually got hairless patches, which I think he's scratching and pulling out. I don't want to take him to the vet because I live in Asia and they tend to just give way too strong meds.

Hairless patches could indicate that he picked up a fungus or skin parasite where he got neutered.  He should not be losing all his hair from being neutered, or if he just picked up fleas.  I do think you should get him checked by a vet to see if he has a fungus like ringworm or another skin condition like scabies.  There are shampoos you can buy that will help with either condition and your vet can order them for you.
