Hello!

My name is Tori! My username is actually my screen name from videogames I play, so if anyone prefers to call me Relienna or "Reli", feel free! I'm used to responding to it! ^-^

I'm a 24 year old living in Southern California with my wonderful boyfriend. We are both video gamers and somewhat anti-social, haha.

I joined a little over 2 weeks ago - hoping to seek help with my overly playful, and somewhat destructive, kitten! I have since gotten wonderful advice and have found kind of a "home" feeling here!

I'm actually a Veterinary Assistant. I was trained and graduated from the V.A. program at PIMA Medical Institute in Seattle, WA in Spring of 2011. I have worked in the field since then - putting me at a more seasoned 4 years of experience! I moved to SoCal in 2012 after meeting my boyfriend, Zach.

My current job is one that I LOVE. Great Veterinarians, that are also awesome bosses, and fantastic co-workers! We are a large 5 doctor general practice with a full booked schedule every day and I absolutely love it.

After joining this site for help I have been exploring and found myself excited that I can also offer advice and information with my experiences. You would think since I spend all day at work doing it that I would want to stay away from "the job" at home, but it is actually kind of a rewarding feeling offering help to people just because you can.

Like I said, I love my job and that means I love teaching other people what I do know. However, just because I'm a Veterinary Assistant doesn't mean I think I know everything: I am all for constructive criticism. If anyone ever feels like I have misinformed someone or you have experienced something different, feel free to tell me your end so I can learn new things too! View media item 288471

Welcome to the site. Your kitten is very cute. I knew a cat at a shelter that I volunteered at once that was named Gage. We joked that he was given the name based on the holes that he managed to put into people's skin. He was FIV positive and a very mean cat. You could give him one pet only and if you went beyond that he'd scratch or bite you.

Welcome to TCS! Gage is handsome, and has such an unusual coat--I love the ticking on his back.

Classic Tabby with the M on the forehead. At least I always thought that meant they were Tabbies. Anyway, they are my favorite.

I associate it with tabbies as well! But, my dad has always called any cat with that head marking "M cats" - since it looks like an M. Hehe!

I don't think I've ever seen such a coat on a cat! Tabby markings on head and legs, but none on the body. Beautiful!!!

Welcome!
