How do you keep your PC monitor speakers from falling off your desk?

I miss the good old days of built-in speakers!

Mine drive me crazy, sliding around the desk when I turn them on, etc. They also tip over easily.  I have the monitor raised on a Rolodex box thing, and I once used stick-on Velcro to hold them, but it doesn't work well. I now have the speakers sitting in a cardboard box (and they still tip over). Are there any caddies or gadgets made for them? I couldn't find anything online. Thanks!

My desk sits against a wall, and the speakers are at the back of the desk, by the wall on either side of the monitor, so they don't fall off, or tip over.

I have the same problem. Mine used to be next to my monitor, until my cat decided he wanted to squeeze his big old hairy body in the area between my keyboard and monitor. I should probably just tape them down. I wish they made keyboards with speakers--that would be awesome! And some kind of plastic thing I could flip down to keep Mr. Nosy from "editing" me...

I'm rather particular about the cats being on my desk (with the exception of Muffin, who's allowed there because she pretty much flops down right in front of the monitor and doesn't disturb much of anything. I have a nice-sized desk, but even so, there's a ton of stuff on the thing. My speakers are bigger, too; our son gave me a really nice set of speakers and a subwoofer for the computer a few years ago for Christmas. I keep the speakers on my desk but nobody bothers them and I have the subwoofer down in a cubby hole at the floor next to the wireless router.

Now, Rick on the other hand....
. I swear that if you even walk by his desk, one of the speakers will fall off. His desk always looks like a hurricane hit it anyway and the speakers sit on a pile of papers. He never uses them.

I have (had) 2 cats who nestle between the monitor and the keyboard. (I say "had", as poor Margaret died 1 week ago today, so now it's only Loki.)  He can't jump up that far, since I moved a table that was near the pc, so that problem has been eliminated, and now, there's a "no cats on the desk" rule. I can't fit my desk up against the wall, and the things are so small and lightweight, they slide all over. Even just pushing the on button makes the speaker tip over.

I am re-doing the room. I may paint my desk (the surface was ruined by Margaret) to match the new bookcases I may buy. The furniture line also has a desk hutch. If that fits my desk, I may buy one. Maybe there's some way I can use the hutch's cubbyholes for the speakers.

My speakers are quite small but have great sound.  I have never had a problem with them falling off my desk. My old computer did have the speaker built into the monitor.

how about trying some museum putty to 'stick' them to the desk?

i also like the 'speaker built into the monitor' that @LaRussa mentioned.

I fdon't have a desk, or a computer, or speakers so I don't have that problem. I use my phone aand don't listen to music.
Goodness I'm boring. Sigh.
