For me, it was the "Mummies of the World" exhibit at Discovery Place in Charlotte, NC.  My mom paid for tickets for me, my brother and his wife because she knew how much I wanted to go.  It was incredible.

I also loved the Rockettes Christmas Show.  They were gorgeous and had the most beautiful live Nativity, complete with camels.

I saw the King Tut exhibit at the Museum of Fine Art in Boston---that was amazing.

I also saw the Star Trek exhibit at the Museum of Science---so much interactive fun! I loved it!

I did not want to leave either exhibit..

Of  course, both of them were many years ago, but still stick out in my mind.

Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City--Incan artifacts and jewelry.  Central and South American indigenous culture fascinates me.  During the same trip, we got to see "Wicked" at some Broadway theatre--maybe the Gershwin, honestly I don't remember.  That was fabulous.

Ooo I do to0!

Have you been out to Las Vegas, in the Bellagio?  The ceiling is one enormous Chihuly - must be thousands of pieces to it.  There's a small gift shop there also but I couldn't afford a single thing.

I remember longing to see the King Tut exhibit when it was in Atlanta.  So close, but yet so far.
Ramesses the Great at the Mint Museum was fascinating. There were stone statues so huge I could not believe.

Oh, easily, the Mütter Museum in Philly. Not sure it's open to the public anymore.

It's interesting but disturbing too...I felt bad for the people and babies who died and wound up as museum exhibits. Seemed disrespectful, really. But it was also interesting.
