So the title says it all. I tried feed my kitten wet tuna fror the first time, she started licking but then bit my finger quite hard. It left a mark and blood came out so I reacted from a reflex and yanked my hand out. How should i act in such a scenario? I'm trying to find something she goes crazy for and tuna seems like it. I suppose this was a bite with intent to eat?

Feeding her tuna should only be as a treat, not a meal.  You will want to experiment with different types of kitten food.  Yet don't rush too quickly as if you offer too many different kinds it will upset her stomach.  Most kittens will eat any type of kitten food from the pet store.  Tuna should only be given in very small amounts.

Also just feed her in a small dish, not off your hand right now.  Kittens have very sharp teeth and she may not be able to control if you bites you or not.  A small dish or plate is much better.

Thanks for your response. I'll keep that in mind. I just wanted to treat her to some tuna to see what her response would be.
