So, Angel's "gotcha day" was this past Saturday. Since I don't know his birthday, or remember the exact day he came to me, I use the date that I first took him to the vets & made it "official." July 25th, 6 years ago!

This year, I decided to finally get him "da bird." I had never gotten it before, thinking it would be the same as other feather toys.

Boy was I wrong!  The way it's made, allows the feathers propel around as it flies through the air. Angel LOVED it!!  I am SO happy I bought it!

Not to mention the feathers are nice ones, & strong to stand up to play, & the just over 36" wand is great too.

I love it because it's got him up jumping! He hasn't played this hard in a long time. (he's 11 or 12 now).

Here are some shots,

"Got it!"

That's funny! Angel has balls, & mice that he likes to play soccer with.

@Columbine  Thanks!

That is adorable. I, like you, couldn't imagine what all the fuss was about until I brought this cat toy home. It flies like a real bird and smells like one too. My cats love da bird also. This is a picture of them with it after killing it the first time today.

I think I have ALL the attachments to frenzy and da bird. I could open a toy shop....... the favorite is slithering (a snake made of fur) that drives her crazy! She bites, attacks, bunny kicks and runs like crazy. She used to love the feathers, but they will rest for a while to get interesting again.

@NewYork1303, Exactly!  Now I know what all the fuss was about.

Here's Angel's basket of toys. "Noooo, not spoiled at all."
All the string & wand toys just got to be too much, tangled, etc.. in the basket, so I had an idea to use a tall vase to keep them in, this way they are also safely put away at night too.

You can see  it in the left corner there. Longer strings I wound up, & put inside, others are tucked away behind it.
