My pregnant kitty: when will she pop????

HI!

Im new here, but i have a few questions regarding my pregnant little one.

First off, shes still a kitten herself, maybe only a year old. We rescued her so we're not too sure. Anyways she's been pregnant for quite some time now, pushing 8 1/2 to 9 weeks. She looks very pregnant (shes my avatar) her nipples are very pink and errect also secreting milk. You can see and feel the kitties move inside her. Recently I've noticed her belly dropped a little down towards her backside, also yesterday she was very vocal and making almost a pigeon sounding noise! On top of that this morning her temp dropped to 98.7 F, if you know anything about this please let me know!!!

It souls like it'll be any day now! Yesterday, My little girls belly dropped and today she's in labor. We're on the 67th day of her pregnancy. Keep an eye on her vulva. If you notice any discharge that's usually a good sign that she's close. Sarthur2

You just received very good advice. Sounds like your gal is due to birth kittens in the next 24-48 hours.

Yes, I could see it, but every cat is different.

Can you tell if her vulva is dilated yet?

That was probably Radar's mucus plug. There can be other clear or pinkish discharge which signals the onset of labor.

It looks more open

You look at the second hole underneath her tail to see if it appears to be opening up. This is where the mucus plug and discharge will come from, as well as the kittens.

she keeps dragging her butt on the rug, does that mean anything??

Yes, it means something in there is bothering her.

Most likely something is about to happen.

she keeps laying on her side with her tail wagging, like she does when someone is bothering her...im assuming the kitties are bothering her belly!

She may be ready to push a baby out soon! Will she let you rub her belly? I'm thinking she is in labor and having contractions!

Do you see her belly twitching or rippling?

Is her vulva fully dilated?

Is she in her nesting box?
