Hi, A kitten has been rescued(native Malaysian striped breed) and I took him to the vet as his condition was severe anaemic with lice infestation. By the grace of God he survived and was taken to the vet again for vaccination and deworming after a week. Vaccine shot given was 4 in 1. When I brought him home from the clinic he was passing uncontrolled motion. Afterwards it stopped, keeping ok but scooting and leaving drops of stools here and there. Anyone has any experience with this? How long it may take to stop?

Has anything been done about the lice? revolution ?

OK will see the vet tomorrow. Initially kitty was suffering from dehydration plus anaemia. That time the vet used front line to get rid of the lice. Plus subcutaneous fluid was given and although the vet was not very hopeful, kitty did well by the grace of God. Gentamycin was applied on both eyes for possible infection. Till now kitty has no problem except that occasional pooping here and there. My 6 year old daughter is under immuno-suppresant medication. I haven't been able to keep pet, work as only fosterer. Kitty is 2 months old and has been vaccinated and dewormed on Friday afternoon. Today is Tuesday, I still see occasional leaking of poop and he is licking that area, but stopped scooting.

if your are a new pet owner i would ask you to find a new vet :D

Then perhaps from there , you can find which vet works.
