I have got a new Persian kitten which was only 9 weeks old. She looked so healthy and energetic when I just brought her home. But those passing three days in the new home, she eats so little. The first day, the poop was pretty healthy. Those three days, she only ate a few dry food. I have tried five kinds of wet food like solid gold, wellness, Iams, and hills crafted. She smelled it and only tried one or two. I also tried to cook salmon and chicken breast. She did the same to those as to the dry food. I can feel this fat cutie lost weight. I am so worried. Wish you guys can give good suggestions.

What did she eat before you brought her home? I'd find out and feed her the same. That would be a start. Also, don't switch up foods this much. A good quality kitten canned maybe a cat milk too...you can put a
dab of food on a front paw. Cats usually lick it off, the taste of food might perk her up. Has she been seen by a vet yet?

She looks little to be 9 weeks, in my opinion. That's why I suggest a vet visit. My concern she may not be fully weaned.

For right now, feed her what she will eat. That's most likely to be the food she was fed before she came to you. She may just be stressed and overwhelmed at leaving mom and her siblings and coming into a totally strange place where everything's different.

The first thing I'd do is call the breeder - they're bound to have come across this situation before, and should be able to advise you.

Rather than give cat milk, I'd suggest using KMR or full fat goats milk (raw if possible). Cat milk is designed more as a treat than a nutritional supplement.

You might find she takes wet food more readily if you mix it with KMR/goats milk - aim for a thickish but lapable consistency.

If you can't get food into her today, you're going to have to get her to the vet. Kittens can go downhill very fast, and she's likely to be dehydrated now too.

Do let us know how she 's getting on.

I swear by Babycat by royal canin.

It's dry, tiny bits and kittens LOVE it! Make sure it's the one that says mother and baby, NOT kitten.
