Hello,

Meet Ozzy:

At 8 weeks old, when we brought him home:

9 weeks:

10 weeks (most recent pictures):

I'm not sure if you can notice this through the pictures, but, over time, his belly is getting whiter and his face is getting a shinier color, like silver.

All I know is that his mom was a spotted tabby and he clearly has spotted tabby markings as well. But his eye color and coat color are a bit puzzling. He doesn't shed much, but from the hairs I've found, they seem to be half white and half black, but when I split his hair, it looks like only the very bottom is white and like 90% of the hair is black.

I also believe he is medium hair. Do you agree? His neck and tail look so fluffy! But I don't think it's nowhere fluffy enough to be considered long hair.

I also appreciate any insight on what breed he resembles. I am very curious about how he is going to grow up. So far, I've only adopted two black and white adult cats, so I have no idea how kittens grow haha Which also makes me concerned: At 9 weeks old, we only weighed 2.13 lbs or 0.96 kg. He looks healthy! But I am starting to think he will be a small cat? My black and white cats are both around 12 lbs or 5.5kg.

Thank you!

Ana

He looks to me like a Russian Blue or Maltese

My tuxedo cat had kittens and one of them came out looking like that. Although they are not purebred, they still have the look and maybe attitude of an RB (Russian Blue). This is Conan through time. You can see he was born very light, but he sometimes looks darker (2nd pic) or lighter (3rd pic he's a little older). In the 4th and 5th pic he looks very light and very dark even though the pics were taken hours apart

I hope someone with more knowledge will come help, but Russian Blue / Maltese is a good start

Ahhh yes, that's because he might have some light colored hair tips, so when the flash hits him he looks "white".

@MServant  Might be able to help with this
