Cerenia injection reactions

Please help. My cat was vomiting and was peeing a lot and barely pooping. I took him to the vet and they gave him some sub Q fluids and cerenia injection. They also did some rads and saw a lot of poop. It's now been 9 hours later and he's meowing and hissing at nothing. Has anyone else had this reaction w their cat??

Just to be clear, it was Cerenia, not Convenia correct? Cerenia is an anti nausea med, convenia is a long term (10 day) antibiotic.  My cat was on cerenia basically every day for 15 months and it was great.  Cerenia does a great job of controlling nausea, and i never sawe side effects in 15 months of daily use.  Did they give an enema?  A stool softener? Did they get a history from you as to how this started?  It sounds like your cat may be in discomfort and that getting that poop out of him is important.  

How old is your cat and when did he start having trouble pooping?
