Hello! I am debating with my husand if our last foster kitten (now our adopted kitten) will be long haired or short haired.
His litter was rescued from a local neighborhood where they were having an "event" in which all of the feral cats were rounded up and there were pit bulls waiting so we took in 3 foster kittens and they turned from feral kittens to lovely domesticated kittens.
I am told his mother is short haired. His siblings all had very bushy tails and lots of longer hairs that grew past their shorter coats.
So I am torn because he does have those longer hairs but not as much as his siblings. He has very long hairs behind his ears and his tail is bushy at the base and not as thick at the end (still pretty bushy but it is tapered)
And without further ado pictures!!
I am hoping he will be long haired but obviously we will love him no matter what.
Oh and a picture of him and his new bff (aka our 6 year old tabby)
Thoughts? Thanks in advance!!
