I'm so glad I will never have to deal with her and kittens again. This was so stressful. I'm thinking about a go fund me but I don't know.. someone suggested I speak to a rescue group and see if I can get funding for this whole mess.

I also should probably eat and sleep. I'm totally drained
Yes, you need to take care of yourself as well.

Well, I'm sure you are!

@catwoman707 is right - it was the old hip injury that caused the problem. Had it not been for that, she would have labored and delivered just fine. Stress would have been minimal.

Google GoFundMe.com and check it out!

A rescue group might help, but you would probably have to turn your cat and kittens over to them.

Get some rest! :)

Well the rescue group is a no then haa.

My sister in law, the one who's cat is the kittens father, has offered to help with $350 of the bill and I'm bawling. She said it was her fault too so she might as well take responsibility.

I called the vet. They said the kittens are still touch and go but they have hope.
I just hope they're nursing and that mom is doing alright. I'll call again before they close for the day and update you guys.

That is fantastic about the $350 from your sister-in-law - what a sweetheart!

Is the vet feeding the kittens formula? They need to be! Can you call and ask please?

Also, go ahead and give the vet the $350. It will help in the care they receive.

Why are the kittens touch and go? Did they say?

They didn't say, I think it's because of the labor.

They actually have the kittens nursing from momma they said it shouldn't affect how she heals and had the cuts covered pretty well.

Well, at least they can keep an eye on the kittens too! Nursing from mom is always best!

Yay! You set up the Go Fund Me page! :)

Let's pray it helps and that the kittens make it!

Will there be a vet or nurse at the surgery with them overnight? Please ask them if you can pay even half the bill can you take her home and make arrangements for the rest!

I have been checking up on this thread all day waiting for news and I'm really glad you posted the go fund me link, I'd like to send something to help, I wish it could be more but every little helps! Do you have a paypal account? I think go fund me take a percentage of each donation so if it saves some money I would be happy to send via paypal to you. Please please dont beat yourself up over what ifs, the fact is you saved 3 kittens and a Mummy cat today and you did everything you could

Thank you so much bella.
I don't have a pay pal, and I think go fund me only takes 5% of donations I'm not sure. My eyes are not working too well tight now cause of how tired I am

And I planned on asking them when I call back tonight how much would have to be paid before I can take them home.

Go eat and take a nap and come back on later!

Set your clock for about three hours so you can check on Radar and the babies before they close for the day.

It is 5% I had a nosey, I will add to it in a little while, I feel like we have all gone through this with you!
Go fund me take 5-7 days to release the money, so withdraw any donations as soon as they are given as the quicker you can get the money to the vet the better, hopefully they have a heart and if you can paya good chunk of it off tomorrow they will let her come home to you, please keep us updated. Now go get some sleep ;)

This woman messaged me on Facebook and asked me to call her she said she is going to the clinic right now and giving them 400 dollars for radars bill I'm in tears. She said I don't have to pay her back or anything but I insist and she said that when she goes on vacation she wants me to cat sit for her.

How are people still so nice?

See? Thank goodness you set up a Go Fund Me account. Or was it in response to your ad in the paper for work?

Is this woman a stranger to you or an acquaintance?

Never underestimate the kindness and compassion of others!

Now please tell us when you can bring Radar and the babies home!

Did you get ANY rest yet? :)

You should tell her to read your thread on this forum. She would probably appreciate that. She'd really see the whole story then too!
