I hope everything's ok. I'm still new to this site and this is the second thread I've read where the kitty had a long labor. Definitely a good sign that you can feel fetal movement. My kitty is due any day and I love reading these. Praying for a happy ending for you guys :)

I'm glad you managed to get some sleep you must be exhausted. Very relieved you have felt the kittens move, I still think its not normal for that sack to be coming out like that for so long, I really worry that if there is a kitten in there its in trouble. I have seen other threads where after the waters break there is an empty sack possibly a kitten that never developed from very early on so keeping everything crossed thats the case here. Will you be going to the vets when they open? She just may need a shot of oxytocin to get things moving a bit quicker.

I hope you are on your way to the vet and good news will be coming along soon.  My thoughts are with you and Radar.

Happy to hear you still felt kitten movement. And glad poor Radar was finally resting some.

Please give us an update when you can. We are all rooting for Radar and her babies.

. I took her to a the vet today because I could tell something was wrong. I could fee it in my bones.

She had to get surgery. The opening in her hips is too small for the vets finger to even fit so there is no way a kitten would fit. They're going to keep her until I can pay the bill off which I figured would happen and she is getting fixed.

I'm a terrible mother. I feel so bad I've been crying all day. But we have three babies that they think will make it. A tortiseshell a black one, and an all orange one. She looked so scared when I was leaving her. :(

Great news! The babies are alive!!!

Stop beating yourself up! None of us knew ahead of time. There is no crystal ball. I just know that protracted, unproductive labor is a big red flag!

Now, she'll be chipper and ready to come home soon - day or two. Let's see about this vet bill. How much is it and have you tried Care Credit?

I am so thrilled everyone made it! Hurray! Best possible outcome!!!

Kittens are with mom 3 of the 5 made it but two were stillborn.

I tried care credit. Me and hubby both got denied, the bill is looking to be 800+ for the surgery, spay, and medication.

I'm sorry you lost two, but I figured there would be a stillborn or two due to the delay. They can only stay in the birth canal for so long before they die.

Any chance of borrowing from relatives and paying them back? Have you already put down a deposit at all?

And do you have anything you could sell quickly?

I know it's a lot of money, and I also know that you will feel better after you get some sleep.

Perhaps if you can quickly raise half, the vet will let you take them home on a payment plan for the remainder. She wouldn't be released before tomorrow anyway.

How about a Go Fund Me account like handsome kitty handsome kitty suggested? It can't hurt, and every little bit helps. Even if friends and family donated a few dollars apiece. I'm sure some of us might help as well. :)

Wow that's steep. I was quoted £120 - £150 for the same thing on Delilah yesterday when I thought she had a kitten left inside. Turns out it was poo... Expensive poo. £90 for the xray!

Looks like the one possible issue with her delivering that could possibly be a problem for her delivery happened.

Sorry to hear this.

Last night I was waiting to hear that she was pushing but unable to show anything, but nothing.

I thought when I read that you were seeing the sac but it was not progressing that she is having an issue with pushing it out, so I was very relieved to read that you got her to a vet.

She did her best mom :) As did you, it happens, and glad she will be spayed now.

I'm so glad I will never have to deal with her and kittens again. This was so stressful. I'm thinking about a go fund me but I don't know.. someone suggested I speak to a rescue group and see if I can get funding for this whole mess.

I also should probably eat and sleep. I'm totally drained
