Hi all. I'm a first time cat owner. I rescued a 10 weeks old kitten on 7/19, so I've had her for only a week. I bought some food from Walmart that was in the refrigerator in the cat food section. 2 bags lasted one week. I fed her like 4 times a day. She put on a pound in a week. The poor thing was skinny and malnutritioned. The food I bought:

The Walmart closest to my house doesn't have this food. The Walmart I bought it from is 30 mins. from my house. So, I went to Tractor Supply and got her some canned food.
Are these 2 brands ok to feed her? I checked the label and they both don't have any by-products. Also, is it ok to give her different brands? I bought different flavor so she doesn't get bored.

Please advise. Thanks!

Those brands are fine to feed
And it's ok to feed a few different brands and different flavors. That keeps a cat from getting too bored with the food and if a brand is recalled, you have another brand to fall back on. Feed foods that are mostly seafood based once in awhile. Seafoods tends to be low in protein and many cats get addiced to eating it and may refuse to eat anything else.

Those brands are both fine - I'm a Blue Buffalo user myself (company that makes Wilderness).

However, you should be feeding the kitten versions of the canned food! (And dry, if you opt to do dry.) I noticed those are the adult versions. She should be eating kitten based food until she is 10-12 months of age! It has the proper amount of protein, fat and nutrients.

Foods that say "All life stages" are OK, but I would stick to kitten stuff all together personally.

And it is ok to switch around brands and flavors! But if you notice any vomiting or diarrhea I would stop and stick to just 1 or 2 flavors/brands because the constant changes can be hard on some cats tummies!

But it's always cat specific on how they react! =]
