Hello!

So here's an interesting one for you.

A few years ago, I brought home a puppy with fleas, who, of course, spread it to the whole household (except, strangely enough, my indoor/outdoor cat). Well, we treated the dogs, attempted to treat the princess of a cat, who, of course, hated me for it. Okay, long story short, she either had or developed a flea allergy, and the fleas / she caused her to lose all the fur on her stomach. It honestly looked like somebody have shaved her to get fixed. And it still hasn't grown back!!!! I tried to examine her once and saw peach fuzz, but I think she groomed it all off. We no longer have fleas!!!!, and she's still, I duno, grooming out all her hair? I know fleas love warm places like bellies, so I understand that part, but...

So to help all that fur grow back, what can I do? What should I do? Is there a suppliment? Should I put a wrap on her? (Or like, a diaper? Haha, she'll looove that!)

I'd love to hear everyone's input. =)

I would suggest you take her to the vet to discuss it. Overgrowing can have any number of triggers, but is always stress related in some way. It's possible she'll need anti anxiety medication to break the cycle.

In terms of anti stress home remedies, Feliway is always a good place to start. Spirit Essences could be helpful too, or Bach's Flower Remedies Crab Apple - which is the commonest remedy used for overgrooming or skin allergies.

An e collar or surgical jacket may be necessary too - depending on the severity of the problem.
