Hi everyone... I am new here.
So we moved to a house in NC. I ended up feeding this tuxedo cat... after a few months of living in that house, we had to move again. It was right when the summer started. I got really attached to him, so took him with us. He is my first cat... and is usually pretty easy going. I got a little puppy around the same time.. I am now worrying about rabies because he was a 100% outdoor cat previously. The puppy still doesn't have his rabies vaccine because the vet wanted to wait, but I am bringing him in tomorrow to have them done. What if my cat transferred rabies to my puppy and he is incubating it? What if my cat has rabies? What if I am incubating rabies from my cat?? I feel like my world literally just turned over...
He is pretty restless tonight. He won't calm down unless I am up and he is tearing up the rug. What can I do? I love them so much!!

This is Miles... I will take him today as well... before I committed to him, I took him to the vet... and that's when he got his shots. I never thought about the nervousness! I guess that can kind of explain it... yes, he does have a scratch post but I've only seen him scratch it a few times. I will keep you updated after the visit... The bonds I've created with them are amazing!
