@siamiam2   Let me inform you on a fact I recently came across, while I was reading an article:

Cockroaches are one of the cleanest animals on the planet. Their body is structured in such way that they hold NO bacteria on them.. It's like any bacteria that might exist in their habitat, don't manage to stay on them but in a way the slip off their body. They also clean themselves constantly..

I guess cats are the equivalent in mammals

LOL I do clean the area I cut the meat up on!

Salmonella is a "risk" whether you feed dry or raw. But, it's more of a risk to people than cats. Cats digestive systems are designed to carry things through it must faster than ours does, and Salmonella is commonly found in their systems regardless of diet.

Here is the raw feeding resources page. It has information about much more than just bacteria/salmonella concerns!

Thanks @KKoerner  I'll read it

And now, here's a little something I saw an hour ago and I was "awwwing" the whole way..

I know! My biggest "awwww" was at 0:02 - 0:07 with the paws on the head trying to immitate mom! I would totally bite those paws though...
Now, imagine him about the size of my palm.. slightly bigger.. walking around the appartment, which is filled with furniture in this exact shade of colour.. Oh! The floors too! That's what I was talking about, when I wrote that we couldn't make him out when he was on the floor or on some furniture and we constantly stepped on him

Love those little kitten paws!

He does blend in! Only thing Cadbury blends in with is one of my bathroom rugs. It is chocolate colored so...yeah...he is camouflaged. He likes to lay on it when he goes in the bathroom (I normally keep the doors closed so Mr. Crazy doesn't eat my dang toilet paper).

Yes he certainly does. As for cockroaches? They're too creepy for words. Tech! I'll leave the insects for those who like that sorta stuff. I prefer a cuddly cat.

LOL @siamiam2  ! I didn't suggest you should get cockroaches for pets!
It was just my "useless info for the day"

Totally agree with you.

This kind cannot fly though.
Oh, bummer! LOL!

I had no idea that roaches are given as presents.. nevertheless they are such amazing animals, for sure. But.. I'll continue to try keeping them out of my appartment..! I'll just love them from afar..!

Totally! I keep my windows open so many hours during the day.. And one of the windows' mosquito net, fell off and I need to reinstall it.. That's where they fly in from! They drive Grizzly insane and I am terrified he might bite them, cause I don't know if they come from a nest that has been sprayed on to..

Once Grizzly gets one of them in his hands he starts torturing the poor creature.. He doesn't bite them or eat them. But I don't know if he'll start that too! So, I try to get rid of them: I wake up my mom and make her kill them

In our world of modernity were still tortured by the things humans have been for centuries. Bug sprays and windows for screens, city wide pest spray all keep these things at some sort of safe distance. Measurably but...loose a screen or go camping and forget your bug spray and they're all over you. Yikes!

The Madagascar ones are MUCH bigger.

Cadbury went psycho because there was a beetle that had flown inside the other night. Oh my...almost couldn't stop him. No bug stands a chance here. I had to catch it too because I worry about the same thing....it may have come from somewhere and have poison on it. He was not happy that I removed his prey!
