Mozart was an adorable one month old kitten i rescued off the streets. He was extremely sick and mostly starved. He has a worm in his neck. When i took him to the vet, she said he may not make it, but i was determined to save him. I cuddled with him in a blanket every day. I had to feed him with a syringe. He tried refusing the food and he wouldnt drink. Three days after rescuing him, he was doing well, but suddently went downhill. I took him to the vet, and he died in the incubator in the back when the vet was trying to warm him up. Mozart, i hope you can be friends with my yorkie dog, jack.

I'm so sorry little Mozart didn't make it - that's heartbreaking. At least he experienced love and care during his final days. RIP, little one.

It is so sad when little kitties lives are cut so short.Poor Mozart! Just know that he had some happy days and that is thanks to you. You saved him and did all you could to help him. He knew he was finally loved and he loved you in return.
RIP Sweet Mozart!
You were loved and will always be missed!

That sweet little guy knew you were doing everything you could to help him, he felt your love and concern and I'm sure it comforted him greatly. Sometimes all we can do is still not enough. It doesn't help with the loneliness and helplessness we feel, and all the unanswered  questions of should haves and could haves, or prevent us from dwelling on the end and not on the life we shared with those we loved, nor does it keep our hearts from shattering in a million pieces. That is called grief. My heart goes out to you, please don't let this prevent you from letting another little desperate soul into your heart, you have so much to offer and there are so many that need your love. My heart goes out to you, I'll pray for you both.  RIP sweet Mozart, I'm so sorry your life was so short on this earth, you will never be forgotten and will be held dear forever in the heart that loves you!

Thank you all so much. I know i posted this recently, but it has almost been a year since he died. It still hurts knowing that he was so young and could have lived if someone had taken him in earlier. There are so many heartless people that wont rescue strays. We adopted a black kitten from the pound a few days after he died because she was going to be put down. I couldnt stand the thought of another animal dieing because nobody wanted her. I still have her today and she is very happy. I love everyone that will rescue any pound animal or any stray. Thank you all so much.
